Brown sugar has anti-bacterial features that shield the skin from harmful toxins. It comprises glycolic acid, which assists in eliminating dead skin cells. The removal of buildup from the skin gives a clear and radiant complexion.

The application of brown sugar helps to lighten the skin and diminish scars, due to the glycolic acid present in this product. It also controls the formation of melanin.

How do I use it? 
Thoroughly wet and soften skin with warm water. Apply a small amount. Gently massage the scrub in a circular motion. Rinse off with warm water. Pat dry. It can be used in the shower or bath. Follow with our Botanicals Face Moisturizer or Body Butter for extra skin nourishment.

So, How often should I exfoliate?
The short answer: you don’t need to exfoliate more than three times weekly. 

The key to this process is to get to know your skin — and listen to it! Not every person with the same skin type will need to exfoliate with the same regularity. 

Once you start to pay attention to how your skin looks and feels with slightly varying exfoliation methods and schedules, you’ll begin to sense when your skin needs exfoliation — which will not always be the same time (or type!) every week.

What do I need to know?
Stir before use as contents may settle. Avoid use on any cuts or delicate areas. Do not exfoliate if your skin is sunburned or irritated for any reason. Be careful not to fall on wet or slippery areas caused by using the scrub. Do not ingest.
